AML 2009 Team Day - Friday Recap
ReplyDeleteWhat a whirlwind! It is good and bad when a staff team feels like they ended strategic planning too early. It was a very active day! The outcome of Friday's activities included a comprehensive plan for AML in 2010 focusing on 1.) AML Internal Ongoing Practices, 2.) Work/Life Balance and Technology and 3.) Business Growth. Feedback from the Team indicates that the Team Day format was successful, small group work beneficial and the settings were ideal. The 2010 year will definitely be an EXCITING one! Onward and upward, the best is yet to come!
In 2009, Ali Ryan graduated from the Iowa Society of Association Executives (ISAE) Leadership Class. Ali attended seven classes to learn about Association Membership, Business Ethics, Governance, Strategic Planning, Finance and Dues Revenue. One of the greatest benefits was the time spent among other association professionals sharing best practices, networking and growing solid relationships with individuals who will serve as resources for Association Management, Ltd. (AML) and our client associations in the future. It has been beneficial to have our staff be actively involved in our professional organizations. Through this involvement, we have access to quality education and leadership opportunities which enhance the professionalism of our staff. Please congratulate Ali on her accomplishment!
